Solution System Features

Wi-Fi Module

PMRS-420 has a built-in Wi-Fi module which supports 802.11 b/g/n WI-FI networks.
PMRS-201 can have a Wi-Fi module added on demand

Storage

The PMRS-420 supports external USB storage.
PMRS-420 and 201 support micro-SD storage (FAT32 format).

Portable system

PMRS devices are a portable solution (5 x 10.6 x 3.4 cm), and are designed and optimised for wireless cellular networks (3G/ 4G).

Video Channels

PMRS-201 has 2 PAL/NTSC video input channel ports. PMRS-420 has 4 PAL/NTSC video input channel ports.

Two way audio

PMRS Devices support two way VOIP (Audio In/Out streaming), which allows voice communication between the unit and any connected PC/ Laptop/ Smart phone.
The unit has two audio-in channels and one audio-out channel.

Location Tracking

The unit has a built-in GPS and GLONASS Receiver which provides accurate co-ordinates. The system features a variety of location functions such as: Live location tracking/ map recording/ parameter alarms/ speed tracking/ satelite and coordinates information and more.

Video Compression

The system uses a high performance video codec (H.264), allowing to stream live video at a high quality over wireless mobile networks with low latency.

Dual Video Encoding Per Channel

Units have dual video encoding capability per channel, which allows the unit to live stream and record video at separate bit rates and frame rates. This feature can help with reducing mobile data consumption.

Built-in Cellular Module

The unit has a built-in cellular module (LTE/ HSPA/ 3G/ EDGE/ GPRS) which supports most cellular service providers around the world. The unit only requires a SIM card to operate.

Recording

The unit's live video/ audio/ GPS streams can be recorded inside the unit's storage device (SSD or micro-SD), remotely on the server, or from any location using MRS monitoring clients (PCs, Laptops & smart phones) via the internet.

Visual Motion Detection

PMRS devices has built-in Visual Motion Detection (VMD), which can be activated on any camera connected to the unit and can be set to trigger a variety of actions, such as video streaming, recording and others.

GPIO

PMRS devices have 4 built-in GPIO ports: 2 input sensors and 2 output switches for external peripheral devices. The GPIO ports can be set to trigger video streaming, recording and text messaging. Wakeup from sleep mode is possible with 12v trigger and accelerometer.

PTZ Control

PMRS devices have built-in RS-485 ports (T+/ T-) which support PTZ cameras using Pelco D and Visca protocols. The system allows you to control the Pan, Tilt and Zoom functions of the supported PTZ camera, live from any location.

SMS

The unit can send SMS alerts to any number of mobile phones, as a result of various alarms being triggered such as: VMD and GPIO/ Alarm Button. Supported mobile phones can also receive images of the video stream.

Automatic Bandwidth Control

The unit features automatic bandwidth control, which will automatically decrease the bit rate and frame rate of the video channel (if they are set too high), in order to adapt to the mobile network bandwidth.

Alarm Button

The unit has a built-in alarm-button which can be pressed by personnel in the case of an event or emergency. The Alarm Button can be set to trigger a variety of actions such as: video streaming, recording and others.

Battery

The unit has a built-in 4200mAh rechargeable lithium battery. The PMRS Device also supports external power sources like a power bank and solar panels.

Ethernet

The PMRS unit has a built-in 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet interface for streaming live media. An Ethernet cable is included with the unit.

Encryption Capabilities

The PMRS system supports secure data transfer encryption between the unit, server and any clients in the network. Recorded files can be encrypted as well.

Low Power

PMRS uses low power and has a 5V-15V DC power input for charging. Power consumption varies between 1000-1500mAh (5V) depending on use. The PMRS devices support sleep management and other power saving features.

Accelerometer

PMRS has a built-in accelerometer sensor. The accelerometer can wake up the device from sleep mode.
